Melanie Baxter is the founder of The Pipeline Life, the Pipeliners Tour, and The Pipeline Life Foundation – platforms built to support, connect, and recognize the people behind America’s pipeline industry.
Raised on a farm in rural northern Missouri, Baxter still lives near the Missouri-Iowa line with her 21-year-old son, where their days are grounded in row crops, cow/calf pairs, and the work that comes with rural life. Her connection to the pipeline industry became personal when her son went to work on the ROW as a Welder Helper just two weeks after graduating high school.
Before launching The Pipeline Life, Baxter spent five years leading social media for Hess Corporation and has continued working across oil & gas in marketing, communications, social media, and live events. Today, The Pipeline Life reaches more than 200,000 followers and generates 8+ million monthly video views, while the Pipeliners Tour brings crews, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and industry leaders together where the work is happening.
